Ritual magic is the magic of the faithful. It requires strict service and dedication to one God of a player's choice. It is also the single form of magic most affected by a player's Affinity Bar. By having powerful ties to your chosen god you increase the power of your ritualistic spells. Ritual magic is also most affected by the seasons of Ura. When the god of your choice has his/her moon standing alone in the sky you find your ritual magic at its peak. During your God's season one would find you a dangerous opponent to be dealt with.

Like Ritual itself, ritual mages work together to produce rituals. Depending on the God and the spell being cast the amount of ritual mages needed will change. For example, Dargon's preferred number is 5 and in most of his religious rituals you will see 5 priests. As such, many of the powerful spells of a Dargon Ritual Mage will take five players. There are only a limited amount of spells a Ritual Mage can produce on his/her own, meaning Ritual mages usually travel together rather than alone. Certain rituals also taken reagents, whether holy items or simple ones in order to perform the spell.

Many 'Battle Mages' harness the power of Ritual Magic. On a battlefield there is usually a large group of ritual mages casting powerful spells against the opponent or giving their own men powerful bonuses. In Ritual Magic you will find powers that are supernatural; from things like holy fire to giving beast-like strength to your allies. These divine changes are brought from the Gods directly, not to merely affect the world but to warp it to divine will. It is said that a Ritual mage brings the Gods themselves to battle.

There are also Trinity Ritual Mages who perform ritual to the entire Trinity of Gods in order to cast spells. They are the only Ritual Mages unable to act alone in any way but as affinity with any God increases so does their ability in magic. They do lose the bonus of power during seasons.
