The Birth of the Trinity
According to the The Only Book, the Holy Book of the Trinity, there once was a being called the Creator. It was orb shaped and unimaginably wise. The Creator’s being contained Light and Darkness, Life and Death and everything in between. After thousands of years, the Creator, or the Omni-Light, learned how to create materials using nothing other than the energy its body was made of: its essence. At first, the Omni-Light used this knowledge and energy to create materials. It found ways of shaping the energy and the materials into any shape it wanted. The Creator’s first creation was a replica of Itself: an orb-shaped mass that we now call Ura.
The world was magnificent. The Omni-Light, stunned by its own abilities began an explosion of creativity creating trees, carving mountains and filling the great oceans. It grew fond of its creations and became more enthusiastic with every creation. Unknowingly, the Creator began losing its essence. By giving life to so many others, the Omni-Light was losing its own.
The Creator had little energy left and began to consider how it could possibly watch over all of its creations for the rest of eternity. The Omni-Light began to gather and categorize nearly all of the remaining essence inside of Itself and found three kinds of energy dwelling there: Light, Dark, and Neutral. The Light part of this essence took the shape of a beautiful woman named Iantha. The Dark essence took on the shape of a mighty warrior in black armor, Dargon. What was left was a little bit of neutral essence. This essence gathered and thus created Bovol, smaller than the others, but his strength equal.
The Trinity was born.
The Departure
It was soon after the creation of the Trinity that the Omni-Light, exhausted and reduced to a minuscule size, departed to regain its strength. Before departing, however, the Creator explained the purpose of the Trinity.
“Within each of you is a piece of my essence. Just as you are yourselves, you are me. Your purpose is simple: to watch over my creations. You may continue creation as you each see fit, and to aide this, I have given each of you a domain of your own. My children, you must never forget your purpose, not as individuals, but as the Trinity.”
With that, the Creator was gone and despite its absence, they knew that the Omni-Light shone within each of them. And so they set about their own ways.
The Creation of the Primary Races
Iantha decided to take care of the living things the Creator had given the world. She found out how they were created and, using herself as a template, made the very first intelligent race; the Humans. While the Humans resembled Iantha physically, they were not as pure, and thus, had flaws. After realizing the flaws in Humans, she decided that she would not create any new intelligent races and focus on taking care of what had been created so far.

Description: Used as a model for perfect beauty. She is wearing White Robes most of the time, often pictured fully naked to represent her purity. She carries the sword of Judgment as well as the Takor, the small white bird which is the symbol for love.
Shrine: A proper Iantha Shrine is made out of white marble. It is well decorated and often pure mountain crystals are set in the marble to represent her sheer beauty. Mostly flowers and silver coins are offered to gain her affection.
Realm: Iantha’s realm contains beautiful white buildings. Many a plant and bush is found everywhere. Both souls and beasts can walk around in peace. Only the purest of marble, the finest materials and high quality goods are found here. Truly, this realm is a happy one. The path to the world of the living however, is a dangerous one. “The Pillars of Life” are a series of pillars leading to a crystal gate that leads back to the world of the living. These pillars are narrow, and one wrong jump can set you back to where you started. Frustration and disappointment made many insane and trapped them in her happy peaceful realm for all eternity.
Bovol was more interested in the riches found throughout Ura. When the Omni-Light had created Ura, some of Its essence was condensed in the rocks and formed beautiful gems. Bovol tried to recreate these gems but did not succeed as well as the Creator did. His creations were not as pure as the gems the Omni-Light created. Nevertheless, he managed to create interesting stones of his own. These are now known as the precious metals of Silver, Gold, Copper and Platinum. Not long after, Bovol wanted to create a creature after his own form -- The Dewars were born.

Description: The Dwarven God wears a purple gown, a crown, and a Scepter twice his size. He has an exceptionally long beard that reaches his ankles; a sign of wisdom and status. A sack full of books hangs on one shoulder and a sack of gold on his hip.
Shrine: The Shrines of Bovol are made with wood, metal or gold depending on the wealth of the settlement or city. Almost always gold or platinum engravings are made into the shrines to please Bovol even more. Replicas of his crown are found on top of most shrines. Gold, seeds and food are the materials to offer to Bovol at any of his shrines.
Realm: Bovol’s realm is much like the world of the living, albeit that once you’re in, it is tough to get out. Also, his realm is really small. It seems as if though Bovol figured that you only need what you need, not what you would like. Deprived from all luxury goods, souls tend to get bored in the realm of Bovol. To get out of the realm of Bovol, one has to pass through “The maze of souls”. A maze that holds many dangers, dead ends, and unexpected surprises… for good and for worse.
Dargon sat in silence, watching his two siblings. He observed and studied their creatures. Rather than create his own creatures, Dargon was first interested only in destruction. Spending his days wreaking havoc on the creations of his siblings, Dargon grew complacent; he too wanted to create a race of his own, but without the weaknesses the other races possessed. Using the solid rock of Ura as a template, Dargon gave life to the Jilocks. Iantha, however, annoyed at Dargon’s indiscretions, was able to sneak in a small amount of her essence into the Jilocks at the time of their creation. This infuriated Dargon. He vowed to forever create new creatures that would destroy all of Iantha’s work.
Affiliation: Evil
Description: Wearing a suit of armor as black as the deepest depths of the Alborn Forest, this god represents evil itself. A heavy mace known as the Dark Mace in one hand and a tower shield with monstrous teeth of unknown origin in the other. His face is never shown and people fear him as much as they worship him. His followers choose him as their sole God out of fear, pure hatred, anger, or sadness.
Shrine: The Dargon Shrines are very rare, but utterly impressive. Made out of the finest quality of Black marble and often imbedded with dark red rubies and Lapis. Very often swords, shields and armor can be found around a Dargon Shrine. Gems and food will please him, but never as much as the sacrifice of a life, whether it is beast or man.
Realm: Dargon’s Realm… the greatest fear of anyone sane. For ages mothers have used it when their kids were up to no good “If you keep this up you’ll end up in Dargon’s Realm!” they said. Well… luckily it normally takes more than a taste out of a sugar jar to get into his realm. His realm consists of pain, fire, torture and all you see is death and despair. Dargon likes keeping souls trapped in his realm forever and making them suffer. Normally… Dargon only judges those who lived a bad life and sucks them into his realm.. but every now and then, he sucks in a purely good soul.
Unknowingly, the Trinity was creating an atmosphere of balance that would allow the rapid growth of Ura.
