Government1
From Trinity Reign Wiki
The Four Crystal Leaders have the ability to run their governments as they see fit. Some prefer a more free and open society while others prefer to have a strong hold on the people for their own protection. The following is a general scheme for how the four governments are handled in Ura.
Nofech: The Emerald King presides over the lush lands to the East, the region of Nofech. This Human King rules his lands in a soft, honest and pure way. His region has the most inhabitants due to it its fertility and balance. His empathetic reign is quite popular throughout the region, but he has his fair share of problems as well. Many thieves see Nofech as ripe for the picking, and the Emerald King has struggled to fully protect the hordes of merchants traveling throughout the region.
He believes in his people, and thus employs a 3-7 member council to lead over each Nofech city.
Adamao: Leader of the Northern ice-covered lands of Adamao, the Diamond King rose to power by heading the most powerful merchant guild in the Northern territories. The Diamond King appoints associates of his guild to lead the various cities throughout Adamao. Short tempered, always dressed in furs of the finest quality and his large wooly hat, the Diamond King fights a daily battle to limit the rampant corruption found throughout his lands.
His kingdom reaches from the Northern Sea down to the mountains of Central Ura.
Gorundrum: Leader of the lands of the great river delta, Shadow lake, and the huge waterfalls Iantha’s tears, a Human witch rules over the Gorundrum region using a combination of respect and fear. The Sapphire Queen has a non-existent tolerance for failure, and those who do not succeed will find themselves at the mercy of her fluctuating and unpredictable emotions. Still, she keeps her people in line with a mix of her seemingly limitless power and beauty as well as a healthy propaganda campaign. The Queen employs an elite group of soldiers, the Aquanis, to be her enforcers throughout the region. She places a puppet leader who reports directly to the Queen to run each city.
Rich fishing grounds, beautiful architecture and wildlife are found in her lands. She holds her spell over cities such as Navall, Kaland and Tishwin
Rubrum: Leader of the parched land in the South, the Rubrum region, where constant heat and drought torture the barren lands. Little vegetation is found here but what this land lacks above ground, it makes up for below the ground. Some of the most beautiful (and valuable) precious stones are found in Rubrum. Almost all cities and villages are built near an oasis or some sort of mine. The Dewar king is dressed in the finest silk and his hands show off the precious spoils of his region. He almost never leaves his castle in the middle of the Rubrum region, indulging himself in riches and loosely controlling his people with taxes and silly laws. Probably the only reason why people still live in his kingdom is the fact that the riches found there are beyond imagination and the lands hold many treasures.
The Ruby King appoints regional leaders, dividing his kingdom into three regions: Northeast, Central, and Southwest.
